literature

Literature is any piece of writing, in which the author expresses himself and his ideas. These ideas can be expressed through a creative writing piece such as a poem or short story.

We study literature to better understand and interpret other peoples writing. It gives us a look onto other peoples views and cultures. If we just read literature we dont get as much out of it, but we study literture we will gain a lot of knowledge
