For the second half of the semester you will be required to post a weekly blog updating the class on your progress with the "Novel Project".
What is the "Novel Project"? Well, for the second half of the semester you will be asked to read, review, analyze, discuss, research and write about one novel. (You must choose one novel from the list I provide in the blog, and it must be a novel that at least one other person in class is reading.)

What is Literature
Literature is a subject that is studied to have a better meaning of ideas behind the actual words of the text in a book.
We study it to learn how to read behind just what the words say.
